The Ex: By Freida McFadden

'' If she believes someone is trying to kill her, she's probably right. and I know who that person is '' Remember how we have always been told not to   OBSESS  over things and people for the sake of our own mental health and well-being .. ?. to leave space and distance between us and what we’re actually attached to, physically and mentally. Again for the sake of our own stability and wellness.    You see, it's not an easy thing to do. As a person who is fully committed to her paperbacks and the plot within every publication, I can confirm that my mental stability is in jeopardy due to that kind of attachment. B ut for most of us, that kind of  attachment brings in joy. Even if the publication we devoured in one setting is disturbing, we would still find ourselves in peace and at ease. Unless we have to get back to reality, that's when the intense feeling of being a child left alone on their first day of school will come back.  We all have names popping in o...

Walking The Medicine Wheel: Healing Trauma & PTSD: By David R. Kopcaz MD & Joseph Real

WAR.   A three-letter word that has the ability to change nations, geographical borders and even people .  We overhear talks here and there about wars starting and ending, on daily bases, that its part of our lives and daily-routine. We gather information about the zones, the winner and loser sides and everything to satisfy our hungry minds. But no one ever mentions the military men and women . The ones who participated in the war you were interested in and read threads about, the war that have changed their mindsets and them as individuals with real emotions and feelings. We recklessly act upon ourselves and throw some lavish parties without knowing if they're totally ok with the noise, the people and being out in public despite what they have witnessed. Are they ready to face it all? or do they need more time to get back to their true-selves?. Those kind of concerns are hard to comprehend for sure, but we need to take their emotions in serious considerations. ...

Around The World In 80 Trains: By Monisha Rajesh

'' — trains would always have a charm that could soften even the grumpiest traveller .. '' Let’s walk down the aisle .. and no, it's not the white dress and black tie kind of an aisle, it's an adventure  aisle. An aisle that has the power of taking your mind from the dark to the light. yes .. THAT aisle, the one that just popped in your head. As much as we all love to travel, there’s still something missing in that concept. It’s easy to book a flight, the hotel and the activities that will  fill up your schedule for days and weeks to come.  But have you ever asked yourself on whether you’re really enjoying the journey or are you or just traveling ? Wait, let me put it in nicer words in here, not that I’m not  nice , but sometimes one needs a bit of a tone and a 5-year old kid’s attitude to get the right point to others.  Sorry (not sorry).  Anyways, back to my point. So basically in the world of language, there’s a huge difference between t...

The Spanish Love Deception: By Elena Armas

BookTalk might be a little bit late to the party, and that’s because I have been reading the book over and over again up to the point of retaining my favourite quotes by heart instead of actually talking about them in here !.  But hey we made it and we’re super ready to spill the tea and talk about the one and only  The Spanish Love Deception !   This is one of the books that forced air into my breathless lungs and made me flip the pages for long continues hours with a vivid smile on my face. Despite turning a blind eye on romance related books and not wanting to do anything with them, this book was different, and it did hit some nerves. The plot is exceptional AND spicy! ( Yayks I know). However, this is not a typical love/hate story where enemies catch feelings and so on. Its more than that. With every passionate thread and storyline, an indirect hidden message rests within. The indicated is a clear wakeup call for all readers. And that’s what I really admir...

Invisible Women: By Caroline Criado Perez

Now don’t role your eyes on me because I felt it coming once you saw the title up there . . . I know you have come across tons of related talks and essays, but hey we need to set daily and monthly reminders for important things in life, as such. And here I am doing it with no regrets. After reading this book for the fourth time, I can guarantee that this is an enjoyable scientific book. With all the evidences and statistical analysis of each and every topic within, one would have a clear view of gender and how women are viewed in both the public and private spheres. And as much as readers will enjoy this book in a painful way, it will also be the right time to learn . . .   Yes  learn . Our generation is living in a fluffy pink cloud consisting of rainbows and unicorns, they’re jumping from one pink cloud to another as if there’s nothing to stress about and no problem to shed some lights on. This is the world of invisibility where women-related issues and situation...
